Holy Communion is ordinarily to be received at Mass. On weekdays from Monday through
Friday, those whose schedules prevent them from remaining for Mass can receive Holy
Communion at the service before the 6:30 am Mass.
Those who are not able to come to Church to receive Holy Communion can receive Our
Lord elsewhere. Those who are hospitalized or homebound have the opportunity to
receive the Eucharist from the parish clergy or other Extraordinary ministers of
Holy Communion. If you are homebound or hospitalized, please contact the rectory
to receive Communion.
Children make their first Holy Communion at the end of their 2nd grade year.
Students at the parish grade school and the parish CCD program generally make
their first Communion together on the first Saturday of May. Students who make
their first Communion must make their first Confession prior to receiving the
Eucharist.
The Eucharist is also worshiped during adoration. Additional time for adoration is
offered during Lent.
