| St. Vincent de Paul Parish is a host site for the SHARE Food program.
This means that you come right to the parish for the distribution of the food once a month.
SHARE food is NOT a government program, it is NOT a welfare program, it is NOT a handout, and it
is NOT free or donated food. SHARE is a business. The work force that conducts the SHARE business
is a very large group of volunteers called participants. These volunteers make sure that our
monthly, affordable quality food package is distributed each and every month. SHARE participants
promote volunteer service. SHARE invites people to come together to SHARE food, SAVE money and
SERVE others. There are no eligibility requirements to join the SHARE Food Program. “If you
eat, you qualify.” You only need to pledge 2 hours of community service at sign up time. An
example of Community Service that would benefit everybody would be to help at St. Vincent's on
distribution day. Contact people: Jerry and Jeanette Borsberry - (309)691-3602.
